Fridge: Perfect Stocking is a sorting game in the stock-sorting subcategory. The player's main task is to stock refrigerators with items. Unlike similar merchandise-sorting games, they don't attempt to rearrange items already on shelves. Instead, their goal is to place items in limited bin spaces using precision accuracy so that all spaces are optimized fully with well-organized beverage and food products. They also attempt to earn coins as income for their hard work.
The player receives access to different types of fridges each day, including ones that don't look great and others painted with popular themed artwork. Each fridge features items in front of it in baskets. After the player opens a door, they must transfer the basket products to bins.
The game shows the player how to place the items. It even provides them with a preview that shows a silhouette of possible positions for an item. Yet, this tool isn't always accurate. The player might find that they've placed products too far apart for everything to fit in a specific bin. Additionally, they might select a bin that's not the right capacity or size for the volume of one specific type of product.
Fridge: Perfect Stocking requires perfection, as the name clearly states. That said, if the player feels they can't perform perfectly, they have several options. They can use a back arrow in the lower-right area to undo their previous move or moves. They can close the current bin that they're working on with a check mark button in the same lower-right area and try other bins and products. They can also use a skip-level button in the upper-right area below the coin balance.
